Teign School Computer Science Students in Top 10% in the UK
Computer Science students at Teign School took part in the National Computational Thinking Challenge, with over 100,000 UK students taking part in the online Challenge over a two week window in early November.
Teign School students gained a score which puts them in the top 10% in the country for their age group. Their score qualifies them to take part in the next round of the online TCS Oxford University Computing Challenge supported by Google in March 2019.
Mr Mason, Leader of Computing at Teign School, commented ‘I am amazed at how well all the students did when they undertook the Bebras Computing Challenge 2018. Seven students were ranked in the top 10% for their age group in the country, with no practice time or preparation. Huge congratulations to all students who took part and the students who are through to the next round.’
Huge congratulations to all the students who took part.
