Library Leaders Sign Up Day
5th November 2021On Wednesday 3rd November, a keen group of 30 students from years 7-10 signed up to become Teign’s latest ‘Library Apprentices’. They received a the new training programme sheet and a goodie bag to reward them for getting involved. We already have 10 fully trained Student Librarians who assist in most aspects of the running of our school library. Now these wonderful, competent volunteers will train up the new recruits in all the skills needed to keep the library functioning.
The new ‘Apprentices’ will train at lunchtime on a set day every week with the Student Librarians acting as role models. Mrs Halse will of course be on hand to provide support and training as required!
