Inclusion in PE/ Opportunities for all

At Teign we massively value the contribution that each and every student can make to sport and physical activity.

The majority of our classes are mixed gender and ability with no one being singled out to ensure we can all learn from each other and have equal opportunities.

Sporting opportunities are completely non-gendered across the school and mixed at every opportunity where national governing bodies allow.

Students with SEND have plenty of opportunities to involve themselves equally within lessons and extra-curricular. To ensure those with reduced confidence or self-esteem still manage to get fully involved we offer lunch clubs and sporting extra-curricular play and compete opportunities in SEND only groups.
