Key Stage 3 Curriculum
At Teign School we now have a three-year key stage 3, where students are able to follow the national curriculum subjects in order to provide them with the breadth and depth of subjects required as a foundation for their key stage 4 studies and the knowledge and skills required for adulthood.

Key Stage 4 Curriculum
From 2020 Teign School follows a two-year key stage 4. The students are able to select a broad range of options and we encourage the majority of our students to follow the EBACC, comprising of English, Maths, Science, a humanity, a modern foreign language and two other option choices as well as the other core curriculum subjects of PE and Beliefs, Values and Citizenship.

Study Programme Compliance:
- 3 A Levels / Vocational
- A variety of non-qualification activity e.g. mentoring, volunteering, Duke of Edinburgh, Ten Tors,
- PSHE, including preparation for university and/or apprenticeships
- Work related learning – all students complete a work experience placement
- Extended Project Qualification or Core Mathematics – optional but available to all • Students without Grade 4 or above in English and Mathematics are expected to continue studying these subjects
