GCSE Results - Teign School Celebrates GCSE results with our incredible students!

The 2023 GCSE cohort have done incredibly well following a turbulent few years with much disruption to their education during the Covid Pandemic with a return to ‘normal’ grading this year. The 2023 students achieved grades that they can be really proud of with many attaining some fantastic outcomes.

Headteacher, Suzannah Wharf, said, ‘We are so proud of our students and their results, which reflect the incredible hard work and resilience of the pupils during a very challenging couple of years with disruption to education during the Covid Pandemic. It is wonderful to see the continued positive impact of the changes we have made in the school. Our Year 11 students, who are such a great group of young people, have shown real determination and perseverance and they have achieved some well-deserved, excellent outcomes. We have several children who have attained the highest grades 9s and 8s. These results represent a step up on our journey in providing an outstanding educational experience for our children. I would like to say a huge well done to the students and thank you to their parents and carers and, of course, our really great teaching staff for their fantastic support. I am very proud of everything they have accomplished and am excited to follow their next steps in their educational journey. Congratulations to you all!’
