On Thursday 22nd February Teign School’s 65 GCSE and the A Level Drama students were visited by TiE It Up Theatre, a South Yorkshire based theatre in education company. The students started the day watching their stunning and emotional interpretation of 'I Love You mum – I Promise I Won’t Die' by Mark Wheeller, a set text on the Drama curriculum. The GCSE students then stayed on to experience a workshop led by the 4 actors which was interactive, informative and fun.

Mrs Churchill (Head of Performing Arts) 'In the summer examination our GCSE students will be required to answer questions on the text from the point of view of a director, actor and designer.  This experience has given them so many inspirational ideas and had such a strong hard hitting message for all. I have no doubt that we will be inviting TiE it UP Theatre back in the near future.'
