Teign School Students Learn Life-Saving Skills with Charity Jay’s Aim
19th May 2025Teign School was proud to welcome local charity Jay’s Aim to its health and wellbeing enrichment day this term delivering essential emergency response training to Year 8 students.
Jay’s Aim, which works to reduce sudden cardiac deaths in young people, led hands-on CPR training sessions throughout the day. The charity's representative, Mark, praised Teign students for their enthusiasm, friendliness and positive attitude as they engaged with the life-saving instruction.
The event formed a core part of the school’s commitment to health education, equipping students not only with important first aid knowledge, but also helping them to build confidence, resilience and a strong sense of social responsibility.
The school looks forward to continuing its partnership with Jay’s Aim and offering similar opportunities to other year groups in future enrichment programmes.
